Chester Wiker Jr Born August 1, 1959 Coatesville, PA
It was a steel town in SE Pennsylvania. My father and every other father I knew worked at the mill. My uncles, cousins, aunts, and even my mom worked there during the War. By the time I was of age, it had declined to a small employer in our town...foreign steel was now flooding the USA.
I graduated High School and went to work for Pepperidge Farm...another factory! While there I graduated from Antonelli Institute of Photography in Norristown, PA. I kept my full-time job but I began to work part-time for the local newspaper. This was the most fun I've ever had at any job before or since. I also had my own part-time business doing Weddings, Portraits and the like.
With marriage came financial commitment, so my full-time job took over and photography was regulated to a very passionate hobby...but always a part of my life and soul.
Fast forward 40 years. I'm happily remarried and living in Upstate NY. I'm now getting back into my passion...Photography and Art. Come with me on this journey. We will not disappoint each other.
